8180Films is a Michigan-based film production company formed in 2008 by Rebecca Reynolds, Jim Carpenter, and Larry Brand to make high quality, cost-effective independent films. Joining 8180Films as a Principal is Ross Satterwhite, who now leads the fund raising, investor relations and other financial aspects of the film company.

 

8180 Films’ fourth and latest feature is the performance documentary Beyond Glory, starring Stephen Lang, based on Larry Smith's book of the same name and directed by Larry Brand.  Their third feature is Larry Brand’s neo-noir suspense thriller, The Girl on the Train (2013 Traverse City Film Festival and West Coast premiere 2013 Newport Beach Film Festival). The company’s second feature is the comedy documentary, The Coexist Comedy Tour, (2013 Traverse City Winter Comedy Arts Festival, now available on iTunes andAmazon). 8180Films’ first feature is Christina, starring Nicki Aycox, Jordan Belfi, and Stephen Lang. Winner of seven major awards in its first four film festivals, Christina is distributed by Indican Pictures (USA).
